Designed for use in industrial applications, the RODW- series are wall-mounting, 19 inch,alumimum rack cabinets, offering sealing to NEMA 4/4X type, for deployment in open areas subjected to falling dirt and wind-blown dust particles, rain, snow or splashing water.This wall mount 19 inch weatherproof outdoor rack enclosure offers an efficient solution for deploying server and networking equipment for edge computing applications.

The main cabinet is a welded, folded steel construction. Folded, powder coated finish, steel, 19-inch, rack-mounting profiles are fitted at the front and back to fix equipment across the front of the rack and accessories, such as shelves and chassis guides, inside the rack. 

The door opening has a gasket all round the front door. The cam lock (or other optional 3-point locking) to ensure a good seal and provide security. This has a door handle which sinks into the door when locked, nearly flush with the front. The hinged front door is electrically bonded to the body of the cabinet.

Protection from dirt, dust, oil, and other non-corrosive material. Complete protection from contact with enclosed equipment. Protection from water, up to water projected by a nozzle against enclosure from any direction.

 Adhering to the IP55 safety standard as per EN 60529, they offer resistance against both water and dirt infiltration. Enhanced security is ensured with a 3-point-locking system complemented by a lockable swing handle and insulated cable entry points. The cabinets also feature integrated air ventilation slots for fresh air circulation, maintaining protection against water and dust as per IP55 standards. These cabinets are ideal for locations exposed to environmental elements like rain, dust, sleet, snow, and splashing water. For more flexibility, these cabinets can be paired with a plinth for standalone setups. When using the plinth, rear mounting holes can be sealed using plugs sourced from the cabinet's base.

The designation 'IP' stands for 'Ingress Protection' and the number '55′ indicates the degree of protection. This type of protection is commonly used in telecommunications cabinets to protect and make them much more resistant.

5G outdoor cabinets, also referred to as 5G cabinets or 5G enclosures, are boxes designed to house and protect the electrical equipment to support 5G-LTE technology. Made of metals, plastics or a combination of the two material types, 5G outdoor equipment enclosures serve the following primary purposes.

On the base there is an aperture for cable access, cable grommet or cable glands are available for covering the holes.
